Roles and Responsibilities
I’m the Marketing Manager for The School of Textiles and Design.
I create the annual marketing plan for the School and implement it throughout the year, with the aim of attracting students to study here, through key messages such as our world-class facilities and unique location in the heart of the luxury textiles industry.
I’m responsible for all campaigns, plus website, CRM and social media for the School, managing a small team of student ambassadors and an intern.
I also work closely with the central Heriot-Watt Marketing function on different campaigns throughout the year.
I’m always on the lookout for great stories about students’ work and anything that’s going on in the School so get in touch if you have some news you’d like to share.
I have a BA (Hons) in Marketing Management and I’m a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM), as well as a member of The Marketing Society.
I spent 15 years doing senior marketing roles in London, working in advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi; Iris Worldwide and a few smaller digital agencies.
I’ve led strategic global marketing campaigns for Samsung; Sony; T-Mobile; Costa Coffee; Diageo; American Express; Cadbury; Lurpak; Nikon; Disney; Coca-Cola and many more famous brands.
I’m now living in the Scottish Borders with my family and enjoying working here, at The School of Textiles and Design.
