We’re delighted that, for the second year running, we’ve won the Fashion Photography Award at Graduate Fashion Week in London. We’ve also bagged second place runner-up – the only institution to get the top two in a category.
Natalie Campbell and Sarah Harvie, both BA (Hons) Fashion Communication students won first and second place respectively.
Last year, the award went to Alannah Cooper, who was also on the BA (Hons) Fashion Communication programme and we’ve had nominees in the last three years.
The award is seen a much coveted accolade and competition is stiff from all the top UK universities; it’s a great achievement – congratulations to both Natalie and Sarah.
Theresa Coburn, the programme leader, said: “We’re delighted to have won this prestigious award for the second year running. We’re especially proud of the fact that Natalie and Sarah’s innovative and visionary work won the top two prizes in this highly competitive category, against some of the best and most creative graduate talent in the UK.”
We attend Graduate Fashion Week every year and it’s a great opportunity for the students to show off their hard work and talk to industry people as well as have a look at other students’ work.
